Due to a sparked interest in this relatively new breed, the first Spotties were purchased from Rob and Vickie Grinnal and Pam Parker in the form of Dutch imports. The first service sire was Lochlad Dictator who has bred very well and was later sold to Henry Jewitt.

The highlight certainly has to be setting a new breed record at the inaugural Spotacular Sale at Worcester in 2021 with an imported female, Candy Floss,  selling to Jonathan and Janet Corbett’s Wedderburn flock for 20,000gns. At the same sale they also purchased a shearling ewe for 6500gns.

Boyo bred Spotties have sold successfully since with many females sold to start foundation flocks across the UK.

Along with AI, the current stock tup is Merryboro Fast&Furious.
