At our second show of the summer, Staffordshire County Show saw us bringing home the interbreed championship rosettes for our Charollais shearling ewe, Oakchurch Alabama Slammer. Purchased as a ewe lamb at the Oakchurch dispersal sale, she’s by the 15,000gns Cavick What A Boy! and is out of Oakchurch Ruby.

We then stood reserve breed champion with our ram lamb, Boyo Bravemansgame, who is entered for the Premier Sale.
In the Blue Texel classes we took the championship with Boyo Hugo Boss. He’s by Whatmore Bentley and is out of Stonycrofy Ditzy, he’s full brother to Boyo Frankie and half brother to this year’s show gimmer, Boyo Gucci Prada who also stood second on her only outing at this show.

Wrapping up a hat trick of breed wins, the Spotties and the Bleu Du Maine’s flew the flag in the any other breed classes with our Spottie shearling ewe, Boyo Fireworks winning the championship, while our Bleu Du Maine aged ewe, Perdi Tamara went reserve overall in this section.
