New breed record set for Dutch Spotted

A complete shock to the system happened this week at Worcester as our top Dutch Spotted girl set trade on fire at the Spotacular sale at Worcester selling for a new breed record of 20,000gns.

Breed record holder at 20,000gns

Bred by Joost Louter this one met intense bidding both in the ring and online and was finally knocked down to Jonathan and Janet Corbett for their Wedderburn flock at Newent, Glos.

The Corbett’s also bought our other entry on the day at 6500gns in the form of another imported ewe, again bred by Joost Louter.

6500gns also joining the Wedderburn flock

A huge thank you to Jonathan and Janet for choosing our girls to join their flock as main donor females. Thanks also to Kate Gunn for preparing them for us before the sale. It was certainly a day to remember!
